My New Travel Bag – Senreve’s Mini Maestra

My New Travel Bag – Senreve’s Mini Maestra

Senreve is a brand that was unfamiliar to me until recently. One of the YouTube influencers I follow, Chase Amie, mentioned Senreve’s Aria line in one of her vlogs. I recalled Amie talking about the quality of the leather and the craftsmanship of the design. She subsequently featured an ice blue Mini Maestra in one of her later vlogs and raved about how much the bag could accommodate.

Black pebbled Mini Maestra w/ silver hardware

I saw a tangerine Mini Maestra on our recent outing to Disneyland and noticed how sleek, striking and practical it looked. In the market for a secure and stylish convertible travel bag, I ordered the black pebbled Mini Maestra with silver hardware on Black Friday. As it was my first purchase from the brand, I received 10% off, and Senreve included a gift with purchase. The bag and gift arrived five days later.

Thank you note from the Senreve Team

I excitedly and nervously opened the package, hoping that the bag would meet my requirements and expectations. The bag is very structured with thick, durable leather that feels like it could withstand the unexpected bumps and bruises of traveling.

Light blue microsuede interior lining

The interior has a light blue microsuede lining with pockets and compartments. The bottom exterior of the bag has 4 metal feet, protecting the leather from any surface it touches.

What fits in the Mini Maestra

I filled up the Mini Maestra with most everything that I could anticipate needing on a daily basis during our travels. After all the items had been carefully arranged in the bag, I weighed it, and it came in at seven pounds. I rearranged the straps and tested both the backpack and the crossbody options to ensure that the bag wasn’t cumbersome. Though I admittedly have not spent an entire day hauling all my belongings, between the two varying strap options, I felt confident that the bag and its contents would not weigh me down too much during our excursions.

Packed interior of the Mini Maestra

I will be taking the Mini Maestra on our upcoming trip to Antigua for the Christmas holiday so that will be the real life test of whether it will make the cut. Even if it turns out not to be the right travel bag, it seems like it will be a great utilitarian bag for all my day-to-day needs. Stay tuned for updates!
